Solid Oak Kitchen Process – From Forest to Your Home

Oak kitchen process is an exceptional journey—it begins long before it sits in your home. At Kongacph, every kitchen carries a story etched in grain and craftsmanship, one rooted in nature and shaped by tradition. Each piece is more than just furniture—it’s a story which begun in the forest.

Conscious Oak Selection

Our process starts with responsibly sourced oak. We ensure that the wood is FSC certified. Oak wood that’s robust, rich in character, and ethically harvested. Choosing the right log sets the foundation for a kitchen that’s as enduring as it is beautiful.

Single Material
We craft each kitchen from single material – oak. It’s our signature. And it can be chosen between solid oak wood or oak veneer.
When it comes to solid oak, the texture, grains and a story – naturally comes from the woods, without any human input, creating indeed a very individual and unique kitchen story.

Traditional Joinery, Modern Simplicity
Our kitchens come to life through time‑honored joinery. Tenon and 25×25 design stands out with handcrafted joineries. And this is a real stand out from massive production. Kitche

Hands‑On Finishing

To honor the natural warmth of oak, we finish with plant-based oils that protect without compromising tactility. Rather than hide imperfections, these finishes elevate them, celebrating the wood’s texture and history. We have dedicated our collaboration with Danish OSMO oil.
